Production Operators - Full Time Perm Positions

The Role

Join our passionate production team at Bega on the Sapphire Coast of NSW in a full time perm position, where we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality dairy products enjoyed across Australia. You’ll be part of a supportive, safety-focused and collaborative team that keeps our manufacturing operations running smoothly every day. 

Our Ridge street site in Bega NSW services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural and processed cheeses. These include the renowned Bega cheese blocks- mild, tasty, and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger cheese slices.

 Responsibilities: 

• Operate machinery and equipment safely in line with procedures and standards 

• Deliver production activities to meet daily and weekly schedules and targets 

• Perform quality checks and follow work instructions to ensure product specifications are met 

• Monitor machines and processes, identifying and escalating issues promptly 

• Support a positive team culture through communication, collaboration and continuous improvement 

 About You 

• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety standards 

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements 

• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality products 

• Clear communicator who works well in a team, shows reliability, flexibility and a willingness to learn 

• Experience in food manufacturing environment is highly desirable  

• Willing to work a 24/6 rotating roster, covering day, afternoon, and night shifts
